About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate at Lowe's, you’ll be an essential part of our overnight team, responsible for ensuring that merchandise moves smoothly from the warehouse to the sales floor. Your work behind the scenes will help prepare the store for a successful business day, ensuring shelves are stocked and orders are ready for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Check for accuracy and integrity of contents while unloading incoming shipments overnight to maintain efficiency.
• Shelf Refilling & Organization: Restock shelves and sort storage areas to secure product availability and correct positioning for the next day.
• Order Preparation: Choosing and organizing customer orders for collection or delivery to assist with next-day fulfillment procedures.
• Stock Control: Help in managing and counting inventory to ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
• - Operate warehouse equipment, like pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring safety precautions are taken into account.
• Safety & Compliance: Respect safety protocols and employ the correct gear to maintain a secure work environment.
• Enhance teamwork dynamics and communication strategies to optimize overnight work processes.
• Store Operations: Play a significant role in ensuring the store is ready for customer engagement from the start of the day.

Qualifications

• Qualification through the achievement of a high school diploma or similar standing.
• Aptitude for hoisting and transferring loads of 50 pounds and performing physical duties throughout the nighttime hours.
• Commitment to meticulousness and precision.
• Aptitude for independent task execution and focus in a quick-paced overnight scenario.
• Effective communication and harmonious team-working capabilities.
• Being prepared to follow prescribed methods and attain efficiency standards.
• Acquiring forklift certification is advantageous and could be a requirement for some roles.
• Availability necessary for overnight work hours.
